Students enrolled in the B.A. program have access to the widest selection of humanities and social science disciplines in the Maritimes. There are four B.A. Degree options, and students also have the opportunity to add a subject Minor.

Bachelor of Environmental Studies

The Bachelor of Environmental Studies is a four-year interdisciplinary degree program designed to prepare students for work related to environmental issues. It challenges students to explore, study and analyze complex social, economic, governmental and human factors that impact environmental issues.

The BES degree is the first of its kind in Atlantic Canada. It is part of Saint Mary’s School of the Environment , which brings together students and professors from across the university who are engaged in environmental study and research.
