Getting Your Parking Pass
Starting the first full week in August, we will begin accepting applications for academic year parking permits. Summer parking applications will be available in April on a date specified by Facilities Management each year. For students, these passes are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you apply after the passes are sold out, your name will be placed on a waiting list and you’ll be contacted if one becomes available.
Show your status: If you are a student, you will need to show proof of student status before receiving a pass. If you are a SMU Resident, you will also need to provide proof of campus residencey to receive overnight parking priviledge.
Acceptable proof of student status:
- an updated SMU ID card
Acceptable proof of campus residencey:
- Banner system verification
- Original lease agreement
- Official signed letter from the Residence Life office (acceptance email may not be used)
