Jonah Crowther

Jonah Crowther is “proud and excited” to be starting at Saint Mary’s this fall. Balancing his studies with being active in the community has always been important to him. In addition to volunteering with Feed Nova Scotia, Jonah has coached junior basketball camps and took part in the Conversation Club at his high school to support fellow students whose first language is not English.  

“Through my time at the Halifax Grammar School, I was involved in many sports teams, clubs, and the student union,”  he explains. In addition to receiving the Lieutenant Governor’s Award in grade 11, Jonah played on the Basketball NS provincial team and took part in Junior Achievement. Though he hasn’t yet chosen a major, he’s excited to play varsity basketball for the Saint Mary’s Huskies and get involved in the community through volunteerism.
