Annual Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament
Tuesday, August 22, 2023
The Saint Mary’s University 47th Annual Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament is taking place on August 23 at Granite Springs Golf Club here in Nova Scotia. This year’s presenting sponsor is Ellis Don. The tournament includes teams of four with power carts, a variety of course activities, prizes, lunch, and dinner. Funds raised through the tournament go towards bursaries for students. SMU alumni and friends will spend the day together on the golf course to have fun, connect, and financially support the education of hard-working Saint Mary’s students. The annual tournament awards up to 20 student bursaries totaling $20,000 with the help of our sponsors.
As part of a special engagement activity with alumni of the Network, we invite you to join a team (complimentary) for a great day of golf and reconnecting. Please contact Rebecca.Yorke@smu.ca if you are interested in participating.
We would also ask you to think of friends and/or your corporate employer who may have an interest in participating and helping to sponsor a student bursary while enjoying a great day on the golf course. Registration and sponsorship information can be found online at smu.ca/alumni/golf-tournament.

Join us for Homecoming from October 12-15, 2023! We are excited to invite you back to campus to visit the new Sobeys Inspiration Hub that is scheduled to open next fall. Visit the SMU Homecoming website for a full list of events and activities.

Please be sure to provide updated contact information. The giveaway closes at 11:59 p.m. AST on Friday, June 30, 2023. A winner will be drawn at random on Monday, July 3, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. AST. A winner will receive an email from alumni@smu.ca following a winner announcement on our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (@smualumnihfx).
