First-year Science Course Information

The following First-Year FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) sheets will help you understand what to expect in some of our core 1000-level Science courses. Please keep in mind this is not a complete list of our first-year courses, nor are you likely registered in all the below courses. You will receive a full course syllabus for each course you are enrolled in during the first lecture.

These courses are offered during the September-December 2023 semester. If you are taking any of these courses in a different semester, they can still be helpful to give you a general idea of what to expect in the course but keep in mind there may be some key differences, including instructor, textbook used, etc.
