Tenure-Track Position in Language Variation and Change

The Department of English at Saint Mary’s University, on the unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the field of Language Variation and Change in English. The successful candidate will be appointed to the Department of English Language and Literature, with a cross-appointment to the Program in Linguistics. It is expected that the successful candidate will establish a rigorous research program in the field and contribute an appropriate level of service to the department, faculty, university, and community, especially as they relate to our current curriculum in the English Major, Honours, and Minor program, as well as the Program in Linguistics.
