We have simplified the process—complete the application in just 5 minutes!

Tip: Have your résumé file ready to upload before you get started.

1. Log in to Career360° with your smu.ca email and password.
2. Select “Co-op” from the left side navigation menu
3. Select your program: scroll down for the list of programs, starting with “2026 – Fall” for your Summer 2027 Co-op opportunities.
4. Confirm your eligibility using the Faculty specific requirements.
5. Complete the application providing your basic information and co-op interests, and upload your résumé.
6. Submit your application by clicking the “Submit Application” button at the bottom of the digital form.

Next steps:

1. You will receive an email from coop@smu.ca by November 30, 2026, regarding your application status and next steps to get ready.

NEW! BComm Co-op for Credit!

Co-op for Credit is a new option for BComm students in the Co-op Program to receive credit hours for successfully completed work terms. Each work term has the potential to earn 3 credit hours through a Co-op for Credit course, to a maximum of 9 credit hours total in the degree. Learn more on the Co-op for Credit Information page
