Carbon Coater
EMC is equipped with a bench-top Leica EM CED-030 carbon coater. This machine evaporates single and multiple carbon thread to produce a conductive carbon film on specimens. The application of the machine includes conductive film for scanning electron microscopy and electron microprobe analysis of non-conductive material, carbon reinforcement films on collodium or formvar coated TEM grids.
