Jr. Huskies Camps

New Drop-off & Pick-up Camper Location:

Due to the construction of our new arena the entrance in front of the Homburg Centre is not available for drop off of campers.  Use the Inglis Street parking lot to park and then walk your camper to the Homburg Centre on the marked pathway. If you wish to stay and watch your camper we ask that you use the meter parking on campus or the Pay & Display lot on Inglis Street.  Please review the Parent Information Guide link at the bottom of this page for more details.

New location for Boys & Girls Hockey Camps:

Camps will be held at the Halifax Forum Civic Centre. Note that lunch service is not avaialbe at the Halifax Forum Civic Centre so campers will need to bring their own lunch and snacks for the day.  There will be a supervised lunch room for campers to use. Please reveiw the Parent Information Guide link at the bottom of this page for more details.

Mission

Our mission at Saint Mary's University Jr. Huskies Camps is to teach campers how to play sports while having fun and meeting new friends.

We provide instruction on the fundamentals of the sport along with a focus on individual skill and team concepts. We then provide, through games and contests, an opportunity for the campers to test their skills in a competitive environment.

We believe that success in all walks of life is attainable in some measure through dedication and hard work and try to instill this attitude in the campers. We also ensure that each and every participant has a great time while at Jr Huskies Camps.

By grouping the campers according to age and ability, we aim to provide a balanced mix of instruction, competition and fun that is right for everyone.

‌‌‌‌Please note that you must send in both forms plus a post-dated cheque along with the deposit for the balance of the camp for your application to be considered complete.

We also offer a 2018 Jr. Huskies Camp Menu which is served at the Student Centre on Campus.  Hot Lunch is included with the Football Program and is an option ($50.00) with all other camps held at Saint Mary's.
