Message from Dean Mark Raymond

The Sobey School of Business has a proud history of excellence in business education. The outstanding work of our faculty, staff and students is what makes us the business school of choice. Throughout your time with us, I know you will join us in our mission to make an impact with purpose.

The Sobey School of Business continues to advance the goals of our Strategic Plan, Elevating Impact, which includes research intensification, enhancement of experiential learning opportunities for our students, engagement with the community of practice, integration of sustainability and corporate social responsibility in our curriculum and instilling an entrepreneurial mindset in our graduates.   

Attending the Sobey School of Business means being part of a creative, passionate, and innovative community. The mindset of the school is evident in the design of new programs and redesign of existing programs throughout this past year. In 2023, we are launching a new Executive Doctorate in Business Administration and Master of Business Analytics.  Together with these programs that address the emerging need to provide education that fits the current business landscape, the Sobey School supported research initiatives targeting Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada, and hosted events to support and uplift diverse communities. The Sobey School of Business continues to play a leadership role in our region and communities, and we cannot wait for you to make your mark.

We are also a PRME Champion school, which recognizes our efforts to incorporate the principles of sustainability and responsible management education into our programs and operations.
