Challenge the Status Quo

If it’s not broken, why fix it? These are words not used by well established and successful organizations.

Current success can lead to a false sense of security, compounded by deep rooted habits that are resistant to change. Successful organizations step beyond the boundaries of the status quo and continually respond to changes in their environment. This flexibility helps direct them to find new approaches and opportunities for growth. The first step to seeing opportunities and projecting change is by changing the organizational mindset. You do this by promoting and developing a growth mindset.

Using models and real-world examples, we will explore what obstacles are encountered when an organization holds firm to inflexible beliefs, and the potential gains that can be achieved when an organization makes the decision to challenge the status quo.

Challenge the Status Quo is a required seminar for the Certificate in Agile Workplace Development.
