HIL Real Time Digital Similator (OP5600)

The OP5600 is a complete simulation system comprising a powerful target computer, a flexible high-speed front-end processor, comprehensive digital and analog I/Os and a signal conditioning stage. With its multiple parallel cores, it has the capacity to run, in real time, elaborate Matlab/Simulink models that can represent a complex physical system, its associated controllers or both.

Signal Conditioning Module Interface (OP8660)

  • 6 Pulse Inverter Output DB9 connector used to send control pulses to the motor.
  • Encoder Input connector used to read motor speed and position using differential ABZ encoder signals.
  • Analog and digital input/output monitoring connectors for each channel (16 analog or 8 digital).
  • High current probe connectors (maximum 15 A AC), with red and green LEDs to indicate channel activity.
  • High voltage probe connectors (maximum 600 V), with red and green LEDs to indicate channel activity.

OPAL-RT RT-LAB Software

RT-LAB, fully integrated with MATLAB/Simulink, is an open real-time simulation software environment ideal to perform real time simulations and HIL applications. RT-LAB provides tools for running simulations of highly complex models on a network of distributed run-time targets, communicating via ultra low-latency technologies, in order to achieve the required performance.RT-LAB controls synchronization, user interfaces and hardware interfaces using I/O blocks and data exchange to achieve fully transparent, simple and fast distributed operations.

NI CompactRIO

CompactRIO is a reconfigurable embedded control and acquisition system.
