Dr. Campbell is a Professor and a Senior Research Fellow at Saint Mary's University in Halifax and leads the Dynamic Environment & Ecosystem Health Research (DEEHR) group. Her research, teaching and service at Saint Mary’s University focus on sustainability + resilience of ecosystems, with emphasis on invasive species and environmental contaminants as stressors. Dr. Campbell also leads projects on accessibility & inclusion in science fields, with emphasis on American Sign Language, including collaborations with professional interpreters on bilingualism and interpreting in science fields.
