Plans for Fall 2021 Term
Saint Mary's University is pleased to announce that we will provide students with a complete and vibrant on-campus experience with in-person classes in the fall.
The university's residences, dining, athletics & recreation and library facilities (and more) will be open and ready for you. There will be some changes in how we gather together, use our space and schedule classes so that everyone can feel comfortable and confident being on campus. Our plans follow public health advice, and the university will continue to rely on the strong adoption of public health directives by everyone involved.
Furthermore, the students will work with students who are unable to attend classes on campus to see that progress toward degree completion is maintained. We have a plan that is flexible and offers students choices that will fit their situation and needs. This includes some graduate programs that will be fully designed for online delivery. This flexibility is possible because of the millions of dollars in new technology upgrades we are making.
When registering, students will notice that a very significant number of courses are scheduled to be delivered in person. Students will also see more online course sections as well as courses with online options. Academic advisors and Service Centre teams are here to help students should they have any questions or need more information about their options. We encourage students to register early to take the best advantage of everything that is available.
