The Arthur L. Irving Entrepreneurship Centre

Students and staff from the entrepreneurship centre work together at a desk

The Arthur L. Irving Entrepreneurship Centre is named for the generous support from Arthur L. Irving, Sandra Irving DCL'10, Sarah Irving, the Arthur L. Irving Family Foundation and Irving Oil. Their $5 million gift has allowed the centre to expand into its new home on the second floor of the Sobeys Inspiration Hub.

With additional space and capacity, the entrepreneurship centre will build on its position as a Canadian university leader in engaging students in entrepreneurship experiences and training, business consulting and social entrepreneurship. Here, students gather to create new businesses and start-ups mentored by faculty and entrepreneurs-in-residence. Students also benefit from internships provided by the RBC Talent Hub, and pitch competitions. The centre is home to the award-winning Saint Mary’s University Enactus team.
