Using Your CCR
Students can include their CCR as a valuable addition to their resumes and academic portfolios. The CCR is used when applying/interviewing for: jobs, internships, scholarships, awards, continuing education, and further developmental experiences. To login and view your Co-Curricular Record:
- Visit Career360°
- Login in under "Student" using your S# and password
- On the left navigation bar, select “Co-Curricular Record”
Essential items on using CCR within Career360°:
Printing: Once the Activity Validator has approved an activity request, students can print their CCR record from the Career360° website.
- Students can download their CCR record as a PDF document:
- Login to Career360°
- On the left navigation bar, select “Co-Curricular Record”
- Select the blue button “Print My Co-Curricular Record”; a student will be directed to name the file and save it to their computer
- Once the file has been saved, students can print as many copies of their CCR record as needed
- If students would like their CCR embossed and printed on paper**, please contact the CCR office at ccr@smu.ca
Note: Alumni will not have access to the student view of Career360° and therefore will not have access to their profile. They can request copies of their CCR record at any time by emailing ccr@smu.ca.
Authenticity Code: Every Co-Curricular Record is assigned a unique 20 digit numeric authenticity code which is located at the top and bottom of the CCR record.
Employers can confirm the authenticity of the CCR record by:
- Visiting the URL listed at the bottom of the CCR record
- Input the 20 digits numeric code
**Making a Request: How students can request to add an activity to their Co-Curricular Record (CCR)
- Once a student has almost completed their participation in a CCR activity, they must enter the activity for verification on Career360°
- Login to Career360° at career360.smu.ca
- On the left navigation bar, select “Co-Curricular Record”
- Click the blue “Add a Position to my CCR” button
- Search for an activity or position by typing in the name
- Select the competencies achieved during participation in the CCR activity
- Answer the reflection questions
- Click on the blue “Add to Record” at the bottom of the page
- The CCR Activity Validator will review the student’s request and either accept or decline the request based on whether they completed the number of participation hours.
- When a request is approved, the activity is added to the student's CCR record.
- If a request is declined, students can forward their inquiries to the CCR Site Administrators at ccr@smu.ca; please note that declined submissions will not appear on the student's CCR record
