Career & Experiential Learning for Students


 

Currently, our services are available in-person and virtually.

 


 

Career and Experiential Learning offers current students and alumni a comprehensive package of services and resources to help with the transition into university, develop academic and career directions throughout university and successfully transition into graduate or professional schools or into the world of work. Students receive access to individual professional career counsellingcareer development, personal assessmentsemployer engagement, and co-curricular record services. 

Students can view the Events & Workshops calendar and book appointments through Career360°

Services provided through Career360° by Career and Experiential Learning continue to operate remotely during this time. 

Virtual appointment meetings and calls will be made through Microsoft Teams; all students have free access to Microsoft Teams through their @smu.ca e-mail address. Full instructions on how to use Microsoft Teams can be found on the left-hand side of Career360° under "Student Resources." If Microsoft Teams is not accessible, solutions can be made on a case by case basis.

 

 

How to download Microsoft Teams

 

STEPS:

  • Log-in to your Brightspace account.
  • Click on Office 365 email at the top right corner of your screen.
  • Click on the outlook menu at the top left corner.
  • Find Microsoft Teams in the list of Applications.
  • Download.
