Campus Interview Room Booking

We provide your organization with campus interview rooms to facilitate your recruiting efforts.

How Do I Book a Table or Reserve a Room?

  • Request an information session or booth through HireSMU

  • A Career Services team member will reach out to you to finalize the details and ensure your event is a success.

  • Order food and beverage for your campus event, catering is provided by Aramark.

Be our Guest Panelist or Presenter

  • Interact with students and Alumni through one of our Career Talks or Certificate Programs in an informal way to connect with a specific group of engaged students and Alumni

  • Speak to one of our Career Services team members to express your interest and to discuss our upcoming initiatives

  • Learn more about Career Talks or Certificate Programs

Career Fairs are an opportunity to have active conversations and interactions with current and graduating students, as well as recent Alumni.

Halifax Universities Career Fair

  • Hosted in September of each year in downtown Halifax- September 25th, 2018

  • A partnership between Saint Mary's University, Dalhousie University, and Mount Saint Vincent University

  • 150+ organizations and nearly 2000 students to create connections and possibilities for full-time, internship and co-op opportunities.

Accounting Finance Fair

  • Hosted on campus each September - September 13th & 14th, 2018

  • 40 industry leaders and nearly 300 students for networking and sharing of information and opportunities.

Summer Job Fair

  • Hosted on campus each February

  • In partnership with Mount Saint Vincent University

  • 800+ students to meet with 40 organizations ranging from summer camps to government.

Spotlight Series

Seeking bright new talent?  Look under our Spotlight.  In this program, Career Services can satisfy your talent requirements with our top-level students.  We identify our best, high-achieving graduates through a four- week intensive job preparation seminar followed by a screening interview, ensuring our graduates are a good fit for your organization.
