Two Sobey Alumni Recognized as Inspiring Immigrants

Earlier in January, the organization "My East Coast Experience" hosted a gala awards event. Past SMUSA president and Bachelor of Commerce alumni Ossama Nasrallah, pictured with current SMUSA president Mary Navas, received an award recognizing his "vision, leadership and positive impact on the Maritime community."

Mohammed Issa, BComm'16, also received the award. Issa's business, Eureka Technologies, received ‘Best New Business’ at the Sackville Business Association’s fall awards ceremony.

Mohammed contributes to Saint Mary's through his mentoring of students participating in the New Product Competition. He has also helped with Starting Point Student Entrepreneurship program in the past.
