The David Sobey Centre for Innovation in Retailing and Services hosted Rob Bigler, COO, eBay Canada & Latin America for a special talk during the centre's annual Retail Month. Rob spoke to students, faculty, staff, alumni and the community as he shared his thoughts and insights on the future of retail, e-commerce and accessing global markets. Rob’s engaging discussion also touched on the concept of omnichannel and the importance of creating a customer-first approach to innovation. Students left the talk with a much greater appreciation for e-commerce as a driving force behind the future of retail and how it can enable small businesses to be open to global markets.
