New Product Competition 2016-17 Results

Students from Saint Mary's University, Mount Saint Vincent University and Nova Scotia Community College took part in this competition, tasked with creating a new product that would help retailers and possibly add value to consumers, as well.

The winning idea was a smart tag for apparel retailers that doubles as an anti-theft device, and possesses inventory tracking capabilities. Consumers derive value from the device as the tag can be scanned to gain more product information.
