Saint Mary's University Sustainability Pledge
I pledge to: 1) explore and understand the social, economic, and environmental impacts my choices have on the world, 2) engage myself to rethink, reduce, reuse, and recycle in that order, 3) transform myself, wherever possible, into a more sustainably aware and educated individual, and 4) use the knowledge and experience I gain at Saint Mary’s to improve the sustainability of the communities in which I live, learn and work.
I pledge to:

Turn off lights when not in use / Change light bulbs to CFLs
I already do this I will do it I don’t think it makes a difference /or/ I can not commit to this at this time Sustainability issues aren’t important to me
Turn off your personal computer when not in use / Set sleep mode on your computer
Drink tap water instead of bottled water
Try walking, cycling, public transit and carpooling
Recycling at home, school and work
