Dean's List

What is the Dean’s List?

Saint Mary‘s University recognizes students of high academic standing by placing them on the Dean‘s List.  There are two ways to qualify:

  • Automatic assessment:  If you take at least 30 credit hours during an academic year (Sept – April) and received a minimum 3.67 crade point average with no grades of “F” you will automatically be placed on the Dean’s List on or around May 1st each year.

  • By Application:  There may be a reason our system cannot assess your true GPA due to:

    • Letter of Permission:  If you took a course at another university that was authorized by Saint Mary’s, our system will not pick it up in the automatic assessment.

    • Part time or Less than 30 credit hours in the Academic Year:  You can apply for the Dean’s list after each 30 credit hours you complete provided you achieved the 3.67 average and no grades of “F”.
    • How to Apply: Click Application for Dean’s List after you have officially received your marks.
