A calendar is now being produced from the recent Peptides of Life project presented to the 2nd grade at Oxford Elementary School in central Halifax.
This calendar will serve to disseminate information on peptide science to the general public and to raise funds for improving the Oxford Elementary School library collection oriented around the arts and sciences (i.e. computer facilities, course packages, texts and reference books).
St. Mary’s University has generously offered to contribute in part to the expenses (i.e. printing costs) for the production of the calendar. The calendar will be circulated to the Halifax community by way of the students. Moreover, the calendar is intended as a gift for distribution to the participants of the 20th American Peptide Society Meeting “Peptides for Youth” so that the elementary school students may impact on the thoughts of the leaders of peptide science today.
Advertising space in the “Peptides for Life” Calendar is now being made available such that the sponsor’s logo may be portrayed on the pages of the peptides of their choice.
For a donation of $500 USD, sponsors may receive:
Name and logo on a page of the calendar featuring one of the 12 peptides and their logo on the calendar back cover.
For a donation of $50 USD, sponsors may receive their logo printed on the birth date of a Pioneer in Peptide Science, including Nobel Prize winners:
