Registration Fees:


$350.00 CAD (includes 13% HST)

Included in the Registration Fee:

  • Opening Wine and Cheese Reception on Thursday evening, 15 October
  • Banquet on Friday, 16 October with transportation to and from the Lord Nelson and Holiday Inn
  • Lunches on Friday and Saturday
  • Mid morning and mid afternoon breaks on Friday and Saturday and midmorning break on Sunday morning
  • Morning and afternoon transportation to and from Saint Mary’s University and the Lord Nelson Hotel and Atlantica Hotel Halifax (recently renamed; had been the Holiday Inn)
  • Campus parking pass

The registration fee does not include the banquet costs for a guest. The cost of extra banquet tickets is $40.00.

Receipts will be issued at the Opening Wine and Cheese Reception on 15 October and at the beginning of the Meeting.

Letter of Invitation:

In case your government or funding agency requires a Letter of Invitation for you to attend the Meeting please contact us at icaadmin@ap.smu.ca and inform us of any specific information the Letter of Invitation needs to include.

Visa Information:

A Canadian visa may be required for a small number of attendees. A list of countries for which a visa may be required, as well as application instructions and forms are available at this Citizenship and Immigration Canada website.

If you need to apply for a visa, you may also need to submit an invitation letter. The organizers will provide you with such an invitation letter when we receive the following information from you:

  • Complete name
  • Date of birth
  • Address and telephone number
  • How long you intend to stay in Canada
  • The date you intend to leave Canada

Cheque or Money Order made payable to Saint Mary’s University

Cancellation:

In the event of cancellation, allow 15 business days for refunds to be processed.
No refunds will be issued after 14 September 2009.
