Metro University Students Join To Fight Cancer
Mascots from MSVU, Dal, and SMU (from left to right) join hands at Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life, held at the Dalplex on March 20, 2010. |
For the second year in a row, Saint Mary's University students will be combining their efforts with students from Dalhousie and Mount Saint Vincent to host a Relay For Life. The Relay is an inspirational 12-hour overnight event.
The organizing committee, made up of students from all three schools, encourages you to join or register a team for this year's event. The goal of the 2011 Relay For Life - being held March 11 - is to raise $45,000 for cancer research and support.
Visit the Metro Universities Relay For Life website to register today. For more information, or to make a pledge, contact Amy Seeton, Event Co-Chair.
Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life gives you and your community the opportunity to celebrate cancer survivors, remember and honour loved ones lost to cancer and fight back against all cancers.
