University Mourns the Passing of Professor Das

Professor Dr. Hari Das

The University is sad to note the passing of Professor Dr. Hari Das.

Dr. Das was a Management Professor at the Sobey School of Business. He joined the University in 1978.

He had a number of degrees from a variety of institutions. He received his B.Comm from University of Madras, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and his M.Sc and Ph.D from the University of British Columbia.

He was a well respected professor and a prolific author.

The flags in front of the university have been lowered to half-mast as a sign of respect.
