Saint Mary’s Terrorism Expert Available for Comment on Air India Report
Saint Mary’s Sociology and Criminology Professor Ashley Carver has looked at the Air India case intently and is prepared to comment on the report handed down by the federal government. He studies anti-terrorism practices in Canada as part of his doctoral studies,
He believes the federal report represents a departure for the government in the way it deals with the family of victims, but doubts it will have any practical impact on the way Canada conducts anti-terrorism activities.
Mr. Carver is in Digby today, but will do telephone interviews. He has asked that interview requests be made by email and he will respond quickly.
He can be reached at Ashley.Carver@smu.ca
