Media Release For Immediate Release June 4, 2009 Sobey prof moderates discussion at Atlantic Business Summit
A Marketing professor from the Sobey School of Business is in Toronto this week to help Atlantic Canada do business on the world stage. Dr. Gordon Fullerton, Associate Dean of Masters Programs at the Sobey School of Business, is attending the Summit to serve as moderator for a discussion called, How can we make Atlantic Canada the place from which to conduct business internationally? The panel for the discussion will include: George Armoyan, Chairman, Clarke Inc.; Dan MacDonald, President and CEO, InNOVAcorp; Paul Dube, CEO, Newfoundland & Labrador Association of Technology Industries; and Denise LeBlanc, Q.C., Partner, McInnes Cooper. Dr. Fullerton was asked to moderate the panel in recognition of his expertise in doing business on the global stage from Atlantic Canada. The Atlantic Business Summit will be held on Friday, June 5, at the Rotman School of Management in Toronto. Presented by East Coast Connected, the Summit provides a forum in which business, political, academic and cultural leaders in Atlantic Canada can engage the Atlantic community in Toronto and vice versa. It’s an opportunity to discuss and examine current business trends and issues facing the Atlantic Canadian provinces. John Risley, renowned entrepreneur and past chair of Clearwater Fine Foods, and New York Times best-selling author Don Tapscott will deliver the keynote addresses.
