International small business conference to launch April 22

The 2008 International Council for Small Business conference will be launched by officials from the Department of Economic Development and the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency on Tuesday, April 22 at 3:30 p.m. at Neptune Theatre, 1593 Argyle St., Halifax.

Staff from the Saint Mary's University Business Development Centre, the Canadian Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Acadia University’s Centre for Social and Business Entrepreneurship, Dalhousie University Faculty of Management, entrepreneurs and the conference committee will also attend.

The theme for the international conference, which takes place from June 22 until June 25 at the World Trade and Convention Centre, is Advancing Small Business and Entrepreneurship: From Research to Results.
