TESL Certificate: If you want an overview course that gives you a basic understanding of the principles behind teaching English, this option may be for you.
The certificate is ideal for teachers who want enhance their ability to work with culturally and linguistically diverse students, and for people with an undergraduate degree who would like an introduction to teaching before going to work overseas. This is not a TESL Canada recognized program.
CELTA: This program, awarded by Cambridge English, is designed to provide both theoretical and practical experience in Teaching English as a Second Language.
