You may also find it helpful to consult the web pages in our website section Thinking of Applying.
Once you are admitted as a student at Saint Mary’s, you can use our online Self Service to
- choose courses,
- select and register in courses, change courses, view your grades
- update your address,
- pay your fees and check on the status of your account with Financial Services.
Even before being admitted, look up which courses are available during each semester in the Academic Timetable.
Credit Transfer
You are responsible for negotiating with your home institution the transferability of any courses taken at Saint Mary's University. If you are studying at a Canadian university, this normally means getting approval of a 'Letter of Permission'. That document acts as a request for the Registrar’s Office at Saint Mary’s to send a transcript of grades to your home institution – so make sure to submit a copy of the Letter of Permission to Saint Mary’s.
If you have any questions, you can contact the Registrar's Office.
Campus Services
Saint Mary’s offers Visiting Students a full range of academic and administrative services, including help with finding Accommodations and English language support. For information click the Current Students tab at the top of any page in this website.
