Residence and Meal Plans
When you stay at one of our three campus residences, you will experience university life to the fullest. You will join 1200 other students on our attractive campus in the south end of Halifax. It’s a safe campus, with security in each building. It’s also a conveniently built, with indoor pedways and walkways connecting all academic university buildings. Just as important, it’s a fun environment with a strong sense of community and sprit. Social programming often includes such things as movie nights, bowling, varsity events, intramural sports, holiday parties, and more.
Every student is guaranteed a bed in Residence if they submitt their application for both admission and residence by March 15.
Each residence has All-You-Care-to-Eat healthy meal plans which include special options such as vegan or halal. Costs of Residence and Meal Plans include many services, including phones and local phone service, as well as cable TV service and access to unlimited internet on the university network.
Here is an example:
In 2009 -2010 a student sharing a double room and choosing a mid-priced meal plan, pays $7660 for the academic year, September to April (minus the Holidays).
