Finding the money to finance your education may not always be easy, but remember, education is an investment in your future. We can help figure out how much it's all going to cost and what help is available. In these pages we provide information that will answer questions such as:
- how much do I need to pay for university?
- what financial support is available?
- what job opportunities are available?
While you are studying at Saint Mary’s University, your costs may include:
- tuition and fees
- books and other study materials
- living expenses such as accommodation and meals
- winter clothing
- travel and local transportation
Tip: Get to know the cycle of semesters in the academic year, and plan your budget accordingly. Why? The University expects you to make payments at the beginning of each semester and credits your account with financial support on the same schedule.
A wide range of financial support is available to help you cover the cost of your studies, throughout the duration of your course. This includes employment as well as scholarships and bursaries. For more information about named scholarships please click here.
The Financial Aid & Awards Office staff is dedicated to helping you to understand your financial obligations, to plan and stick to a budget, and to manage student loans and other debt. As a new student you can use these services as soon as you are admitted. You can continue to use them throughout your time at Saint Mary’s and even for a year after you graduate.
