Claude Mongeau
Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer
Canadian National Railway Company

Claude Mongeau became Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer in October 2000. He leads CN's strategic planning process and he is responsible for the overall financial management of CN, as well as the Information Technology function.

He joined CN in May 1994 and has held the positions of vice-president, Strategic and Financial Planning, and assistant vice-president Corporate Development. He was appointed Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer in October 1999.

Prior to joining CN, Mr. Mongeau was a partner with Groupe Secor, a Montreal-based management consulting firm providing strategic advice to large Canadian corporations such as Bombardier and Bell Canada. He also worked in the business development unit of Imasco Inc., a diversified holding company with subsidiaries operating in the manufacturing, retail, and financial services sectors. His career started in Europe with Bain & Company, a leading American consulting firm.

In 1997, Claude Mongeau was named one of Canada's top 40 executives under 40 years of age by the Financial Post Magazine. In 2005, he was selected Canada's CFO of the Year by an independent committee of prominent Canadian business leaders.

Mary Munson
CBC Television

Mary Munson is a 30-year veteran of the broadcast television industry, and is currently the Senior Producer of Land & Sea.

After spending the first years of her career in private television, Mary joined CBC-TV in Toronto, working on such shows as Mr. Dressup, Man Alive and The Journal. She began honing her producer skills at CBC Charlottetown and at Midday in Toronto and Halifax, and subsequently joined CBC's Health unit. While there, she met Angela Vecchio-Ozmon (the daughter of former Saint Mary's President Dr. Kenneth Ozmon), who had just been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Angela wanted to tell her story, which resulted first in the series and then the award-winning documentary Angela's Journey

Robert P. Kelly
Chief Executive Officer, The Bank of New York Mellon

Robert (Bob) Kelly is Chief Executive Officer of The Bank of New York Mellon, a global financial services growth company operating in 37 countries and serving institutions and high-net-worth individuals in more than 100 markets worldwide.

The Company is a worldwide leader in asset management and securities servicing, with more than $18 trillion in assets under custody and administration, $1 trillion in assets under management and servicing $11 trillion in outstanding debt.

At Mellon, he accelerated the company's performance and sharpened its focus on client services. He was named a top 10 bank CEO in 2006 by U.S. Banker magazine. Prior to joining Mellon, he spent five years as chief financial officer of Wachovia Corporation, where he played a key role in the successful integration with First Union Corporation. He was named one of America 's best CFOs by the readers of Institutional Investor magazine in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Previously, he spent 19 years with Toronto-Dominion Bank, where he served as a vice chairman and head of the retail and commercial bank.

In addition to his experience as a CFO, Mr. Kelly has extensive background in retail brokerage and securities trading. He is a chartered accountant with an MBA and an honorary doctorate from City University in London and a bachelor's degree and honorary doctorate from Saint Mary's University.

Norma Lee MacLeod
CBC Television

Norma Lee MacLeod is the host of CBC News at Six on CBC Television in Nova Scotia. She has twice been nominated for Gemini Awards, most recently for best news anchor. Her career with CBC spans more than 20 years and includes a variety of assignments.

Prior to joining CBC News at Six, Norma Lee led the health content unit for CBC Television and hosted “Health Matters” on CBC Newsworld. She received a Gemini nomination for best host/interviewer for her work on the program.

For six years, she hosted the national morning show on CBC Television and CBC Newsworld. During this assignment, Norma Lee hosted CBC's Gemini award-winning live coverage from the scene of the Swissair crash.
