Itinerary and Trip Tips

Stay at Saint Mary's University
Are you looking for an exciting place for your class's next overnight field trip? Why not Explore Halifax and discover the many fun and educational opportunities Nova Scotia's capital offers. And after a busy day of "exploring", students can unwind and rest in our residence. Saint Mary's University is located in Halifax's historic south end, just minutes from the city center and most attractions.

Itinerary
Let us do the work for you! Review the Educational Attractions available to you and then contact Conference Services with your choices. We will arrange your itinerary for you. It's that simple!

Accommodation
Our convenient location, comfortable facilities and affordable prices make Saint Mary's the best choice for accommodation in the city. We are open from mid-May to mid-August. If you book with us before April 15, we will provide a free room and breakfast for your bus driver(s) during your stay.

We offer our special "explorers" a residence room rate of only $34.94 for a single room and $67.46 for a double room (all taxes included) per student, teacher or chaperone. This nightly rate includes hot/cold breakfast, housekeeping with towels and linen, and parking.

On Campus Meals
Join us in the Dockside Dining Hall for your lunch or dinner. This comfortable, bright and attractive facility features all you-care-to-eat buffet meals. Conveniently located in the Loyola Building, our dining hall provides quality food, great variety and friendly service. The Dockside gives you great value for your mealtime dollars.
