Huskies sweep Sea-Hawks, maintain AUS volleyball lead
February 5 - The AUS No. 1 Saint Mary’s Huskies maintained their four-point lead on the Dalhousie Tigers in the women’s volleyball conference with a home sweep of the Memorial Sea-Hawks Sunday afternoon at The Tower in Halifax.
Kerri Smit had 12 kills and 10 digs for the Huskies in a 25-19, 25-21, 25-17 victory. Elizabeth Cosulich added 10 kills for SMU, which improves to 14-1

On Saturday, the Huskies lost the first match, but came back with three straight to defeat the X-Women. Sunday vs the Capers, the Huskies took three in a row with scores of 25-18, 25-21 and 25-22 to finish the weekend with two wins and jumped to a 12-0 record to remain in first place. October 17 - The Huskies won their 7th consecutive game yesterday with a 2-0 victory over the visiting X-Women at Huskies Stadium. Fifth year striker, Kelly Burgess scored for the Huskies in the 11th minute, to give the Huskies the win. The other goal came as a own goal by X to make the final 2-0 SMU. Burgess is the team's leading league scorer with 7 goals.
