April 26 - Carly Gray, of Williamswood, NS., is proving to be quite a defensive force at the Esso Cup, Hockey Canada National Female Hockey Championship being held in Charlottetown this week. Gray is one of ten recruits coming to Saint Mary’s in September.

Though the team’s record showed otherwise, the Huskies put in commendable efforts and gained a lot of respect around the league.

March 14 - A longtime member of the Saint Mary's Huskies Basketball team will take over the reins of the team Jonah Taussig has been appointed as the new head coach for the men's basketball team. Taussig had been the assistant head coach for the team for the past 8 years. Before that, he was a player for the Huskies. Now the longtime team member can add the title of head coach to his impressive resume.

Université de Moncton (25), University of New Brunswick (21), St. Thomas University (4) and Acadia University (4) followed in that order. The Tigers men's squad collected 174 points, by far the best score followed by the StFX X-Men with 61 and the Saint Mary's Huskies with 58.
