Burgess named a CIS 1st Team All-Canadian

November 9 The 2011 CIS championship, hosted by McGill University, gets under way at Percival Molson Stadium on Thursday and culminates with the national final Sunday at 4 p.m. All games from the tournament will be webcast by SSN Canada.

Huskies drop 3-2 decision to Tigers in Semi-Final

November 5 The Dalhousie Tigers clawed their way into the AUS women’s soccer championships, which will be hosted at UNB’s BMO Centre, in Fredericton N.B, tomorrow. The Tigers defeated the Saint Mary’s Huskies today dropping their Halifax rivals with a 3-2 victory.

AUS Awards, Mark Sweetappl -Coach of the Year, Kelly Burgess - League MVP

November 3 Atlantic University Sport is pleased to announce the 2011 women's soccer all-stars and major award winners as selected by the conference's ten head coaches following regular season play. Fifth-year Saint Mary's striker Kelly Burgess was named the Atlantic University Sport most valuable player, Thursday night.

Burgess stars in SMU victory, Huskies get 2nd place bye

October 31 Even Mother Nature couldn’t stop Kelly Burgess.  The Saint Mary’s striker tallied twice to lead the Huskies to a 3-0 victory over the St. Francis Xavier X-Women during a cold, wet and blustery Sunday matinee at Oland Stadium in Antigonish. It was the regular-season finale for both squads.

Huskies edge Tigers 1-0

October 26 The Saint Mary's Huskies picked up their ninth win, to put them with two points of first place in the AUS League standings. The only goal coming in the last seconds of the first half by Lindsay Millett.  The Tigers came on strong in the last minutes of the game, but the Huskies defense held them for the win.

Huskies win 7th in a row, tied for 2nd in AUS standings

October 17 The SMU Huskies won their 7th consecutive game yesterday with a 2-0 victory over the visiting X-Women at Huskies Stadium. Fifth year striker, Kelly Burgess scored for the Huskies in the 11th minute, to give the Huskies the win.  The other goal came as a own goal by X to make the final 2-0 SMU.  Burgess is the team's leading scorer with 18 goals on the seaon.

Burgess scores hat trick in Huskies 3-2 over UNB

September 18 Kelly Burgess completed a hat trick by scoring in the 79th minute to lift the Saint Mary’s Huskies to a 3-2 victory over the UNB Varsity Reds on Saturday in Atlantic university women’s soccer play.
