About The Team

The team consists of a minimum of 18 players, many of whom are current members of Senior or Junior Programs within Canada.  The regular season consists of 16 games which are played in two doubleheaders on each weekend.  A team fee of $200 will be assessed to cover the costs of team operation.

The team is a member of the Canadian Intercollegiate Baseball Association which consists of three conferences and one independent member. Saint Mary's is part of the Atlantic conference which includes Dalhousie, UCCB, UNB and the Atlantic Baptist University Moncton). The team plays a sixteen game regular season beginning September 8 with the top four teams advancing to the conference playoff round.

This has been the 15th year of operation for the team.

Coaches Information

Paul Arsenault - Head Coach

Paul began his coaching career in the mid 70's with the Central Dartmouth Minor Baseball Association. He spent five years coaching the Bantam A Team before joining the coaching staff of Dartmouth & District Minor Baseball. Over the next number of summer's, Paul assisted with the Bantam and Midget A Teams. In 1986, Paul took over as the Head Coach of the Dartmouth Juvenile Team and two years later spearheaded the return of the Junior Program. Paul has since served as the head coach of that team and in 1997 also took over the reins of the Saint Mary's University Team.

Transportation will leave from the Tower at 5:15 PM.
