Female Athlete of the Week Jane Pegg, Volleyball Jane Pegg, a 3rd year Setter from Weyburn, SK helped lead the Huskies to a sweep of the Memorial Seahawks last weekend. The Huskies defeated MUN 3-1 on Saturday, and 3-0 on Sunday. Pegg was named Player of the Game in Saturdays match. |

Male Athlete of the Week Lucas Bloodoff, Hockey Bloodoff picked up three goals for the Huskies in the 8-2 win over the Tommies in wekend play. All goals came in the 3rd period for Bloodoff, who is 6th in team scoring with 17 points. |

Female Athlete of the Week Susanne Canvin, Basketball 5th year forward Canvin, lead the Huskies to a 73-62 win over the Dalhousie Tigers January 25th. She put up 24 points and 7 rebounds in the win. The Huskies are currently tied for 1st spot with 30 points. |

Male Athlete of the Week Colby Pridham, Hockey 4th year team captain Pridham, had a combined 7 points in the Huskies two weekend wins. In the 3-2 OT win over STU, he had a goal and assist and in 5-0 win over UdeM added 3 goals and two assists. He is currently tied for 8th spot in AUS scoring with 26 pts. AUS Athletie of Week. |

Female Athlete of the Week Kerri Smit, Volleyball Smit, cotinued her strong play on the weekend, being named Player of the Game for road matches vs StFX and CBU. The Huskies defeated StFX 3-1 and CBU 3-0. She had a combined 34 kills, 37 digs, and 39 points for the Huskies. |

Tory Fassett, Basketball Fassett netted 22 points and 9 rebounds in SMU's 79-66 victory over the visiting Capers on Friday night. He continues to lead the AUS scoring with 22.2 ppg and is 2nd in the CiS. |

Female Athlete of the Week
Arial Smith, Volleyball Fourth year RS, Smith was named Player of the Game in the Huskies 3-1 win over UdeM on Saturday. She finished the day with 16 kills, 11 digs, and 17 points. |

Shawn O'Donnell, Hockey O'Donnell, a 3rd year Forward from Halifax, NS had 4 points in the Huskies weekend wins over the visiting UNB Varsity Reds and PEI Panthers. |

Justine Colley, Basketball Colley, the current CIS leading scorer led the Huskies to wins over the visting Panthers. On Saturday she had 14 pts and 8 assists, and Sunday scored 30 pts, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. The Huskies sit in first place with a 8-1 record. |

Riley Halpin, Basketball Riley a third year Commerce student from Halifax, NS was the big man for the Huskies in their 2 weekend wins vs PEI. He had a combined 36 pts and 7 rebounds and was named POG in Saturday's game. |

Justine Colley, Basketball Justine, the leading scorer in the conference and CIS had two big games for the Huskies. In their 96-76 win over StFX, she had 28 points and in their road victory over CBU, she had a game high 33 points. She was also named AUS Athlete of the Week. |

Cam Fergus, Hockey 5th year Forward, Cam Fergus earned 6 points in the Huskies two wins last week. In a comeback win over StFX, he had a goal and 3 assists and in their 4-2 win over Acadia, he added 2 more assists. |

Anatasia Callaghan, Volleyball Callaghan, a 2nd year Libero from Truro, NS, led the Huskies in digs in both their wins this weekend. 17 vs Dalhousie, in 3-1 win and 19 vs Acadia, in 3-0 win. She currently leads the confernce in digs with 4.13 pg. AUS Athletic of the Week. |

Mike Stickland, Hockey Stickland, netted the winner two minutes in overtime, to lift the Huskies to a 4-3 victory over the Tigers on November 25th. Mike is a 2nd year forward from Red Deer, AB. |

Kerri Smit, Volleyball 5th year Left Side, Kerri Smit led her team to their 6th straight win over the UNB Varsity Reds, with 21 kills, 6 digs and 23 points. She currently leads the league in kills with a 4.39 average per game. |

Tory Fassett, Basketball Fasset, a 2nd year Forward from Columbia MD, lead the team in scoring with 29 points and 11 rebounds in their 101 - 75 win over UNB. Fassett is leading the league in scoring with 23.4 ppg. |

Female Athlete of the Week
Kelly Burgess, Soccer 5th year, Halifax, NS AUS League MVP - A native of Halifax, N.S., Kelly has been a consistent performer for the Huskies in each of her five years with the program and was also named an AUS all-star for the fifth time in as many years Thursday. The 2011 season saw Burgess score a career-high 13 goals, tying her for the league lead and good enough to rank her third overall in CIS scoring. |

Anne Langley, Soccer 5th year, Halifax, NS The Huskies captured two shutouts in 3 games, in part due to the strong defensive play from Langley. The Huskies clinched 2nd place and have earned themselves a bye heading into the AUS Championships set for Fredericton this weekend. |

Gerrard Grant, Hockey 1st year, Halifax, NS Forward, Gerrard Grant is the Saint Mary's Male Athlete of the Week. Grant had two assists in the Huskies' win 5-3 over StFX on October 26 and added another two vs STU on October 28th. |

Maggie Poliseno 2nd year, Montreal, PQ Poliseno lead the Huskies to their 4-3 home opener win over Dalhousie with two goals and a solid performance. The Huskies travel to Antigonish to take on the X-Women on October 30th. |
