The Saint Mary’s Huskies rallied by scoring 32 points in an explosive fourth quarter to down the St. Francis Xavier X-Women 76-62 on Thursday night in Atlantic university women’s basketball action.

In Antigonish, Justine Colley netted 20 points and Laure Pitfield had 18 to go along with 13 rebounds as the Huskies overwhelmed the X-Women in the final period, limiting the hosts to 11 points.

Ashley Stephen scored 18 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to pace the X-Women. Kirsten Jones chipped in with 12 points and 10 boards.The victory in the four-point game lifts the Huskies (11-8) into second place in the Atlantic conference, two points up on the X-Women (10-6) and Memorial Sea-Hawks (10-6).
