Question: I just got accepted into SMU and picked my courses for the first semester. I had to pick quantitative methods as I am supposed to and I want to know the syllabus so I can start reviewing a little bit as I am not good in math.

Answer: Hello! Welcome to the SMUdent family :) It has been awhile since I took this course, but I remember it being mainly calculus and probability. The following is the description of MGSC 1205 in the course calendar: "This course illustrates applications of basic mathematical techniques in decision-making such as break-even analysis, data manipulation, aggregate planning and financial planning. Topics include linear functions and equations, linear programming and the simplex method, compound interest and annuities." Some professors may release the syllabus to Brightspace before classes start, but most will wait until the first day of class.
