Question: I got a bed space in vanier D for September and I really want to know how to tell what floor I'm on and how vanier D is, I've been searching stuff like crazy trying to figure out the difference between vanier a b c and d, just don't want to be on the first floor.

Answer: Hi Tasha, welcome to Vanier! Vanier is divided into four houses- Vanier D means that you're in D House (A,B,C and D are all separate houses, each with four floors). A quick breakdown of your room number: for example, if you're in D2-1-4a, you're in D house on the second floor, first suite, 4th room, bedspace a. If by chance you have a room number that starts with "DG", you're on the ground floor. Hope this answers your question, looking forward to having you in the residence community!
