Question: my cousin is a new student coming in the fall is it possible he can stay off campus with me even though he is only 17 i am 20 by the way

Answer: Thanks for the question! This one is interesting because the best answer that I can provide is that it depends. As far as the school is concerned, this is perfectly okay. First year students are not required to stay on residence and can live wherever they please. This is a question better asked to your landlord. I know that some landlords require that their tenants (under 18 usually) have a co-signer to vouch for them. The same way a younger person would need a co-signer when buying a car. When I asked my landlord about this he said that he would require a co-signer but yours may be different. I would check in with them and see if he is okay to sign the lease with you. Be sure to mention when he is turning 18 as that may help influence the landlords decision. Better call dibs on the top bunk now! Best of luck!
