Answer: Hey! Welcome to Saint Mary's! No need to worry yet! Tuition is due on the last day to add and drop classes which is usually the second Friday of classes for the term. This coming year tuition for Fall will be due Friday, September 15, 2017 and for the Winter Friday, January 12, 2018 (winter tuition does not need to be paid in September). Tuition can be paid anytime before this as well if you wish. These dates have not been updated on our website yet but hopefully will be soon, in the meantime you can find them in the Academic Calendar (smu.ca/calendar) on page 10. If you are applying for a Canadian student loan, you should apply in early July. In early September loans will be confirmed and signed by the Service Centre and then the required money will be sent directly to your Student Account and any left over money will be sent to you. If you have any more questions about the process you can contact the Service Centre at service.centre@smu.ca .
