Question: How do I figure out how many years a course is, for example, the Certificate in Human Resource Management, how many years would this be considered? thank you, Victoria

Answer: Hi Victoria, Many programs at Saint Mary's require a certain number of courses, and not a set amount of time. For example, the Certificate in Human Resource Management, 16 courses (24 credit hours) are required to complete the certificate, here is the link for more information http://www.smu.ca/academics/cert-human-resource-management.html. Most student will do 5 courses a semester (and up to 3 in the Spring and Summer), this certificate could be potentially completed in one year, Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. Or just over a year and a half, taking only the Fall and Winter semesters, equaling 48 credit hours. .
