Question: If I have lived in the United States almost my whole life and currently attend an English speaking university, do I have to take an English proficiency exam? I speak English fluently.

Answer: http://www.smu.ca/international/admissions.html Based on this link, you are likely to get an exemption from the English Language Testing requirement if you have attended an English language secondary school. However, I would contact the International Liaison Admissions Officers (their contact information is given in the link above) to confirm.
