Question: Is it possible to take a semester off for traveling purposes? Asking as a student with 45 credit hours and wondering how these would be effected by taking a semester off.

Answer: Taking a semester off is definitely possible. Keep in mind after a year of no registration you must reapply to the university. You should stop by your Academic Advisor to find out more about how this may affect your studies (some classes may only be offered in certain semesters) but as long as you figure that out it shouldn't be a problem. You should also consider looking into some of our semester long international study abroad programs. This would allow you to travel while getting some credits at a partner university!
