Question: Hi, I've recently been accepted into SMU for the undergrad program in science.I was keen to know if SMU has the option of students taking a semester with the 'semester as sea' program as part of the study abroad initiative.(www.semesteratsea.org)

Answer: Hi Taanvi, We don't currently have a partnership with the semester at sea program, but it is definitely something you can pursue! If you contact our International Activities office, they should be able to give you more information on how transfer credits would work and if any credits could be transferable to your SMU degree. I know someone that did the program, and said it was definitely a life changing experience! The International Activities office contact info is here: http://www.smu.ca/international/swa-contact-us.html#d.en.42229
